Make my own dist!!!


i'm new in lfs and i'm about to finish it.but i have a question.is it possible in later books,i don't know blfs,alfs or ...,i could make my own distribution?
i mean like a new dist that i can register it in distrowatch.org !!!

Sure you can. Many have done it.

Some good, some really bad.

Why don't you consider using another as a base and modify it for your likes?

It's possible. LFS gives you a very clean system to start your own distribution from, but maintaining a full distribution could get rather difficult. If you want to try it you're more than free too, and good luck to you, but it may be in your best interest to base the distribution on debian or something, so you can take advantage of their repositories and updates.

i'm gonna present a project for my bachelor degree and also i would like to know linux better.so i decided to read lfs and upcoming books
