Can any one help me; I get the following message when I try to install from x86 LIVE CD It installs so far then i am asked to log in.
i586 kernel 2.6.18.8. tex 5 on an i686/tty localhost login:

Which Live CD? There are lots!

I suspect from the name you have PCLinuxOS. During the install did it ask you to set up a user name and password? Did it ask you to type in a password to use for root?
