when I cat my device.map:
(hd0) /dev/disk/by-id/ata-Maxtor_6Y080L0_Y2BLAKJC
(hd1) /dev/disk/by-id/ata_ST3500478AS_5VM3F3JQ

the hd0 is my hard that my lfs files is on it. how to install grub on it? it seams that my GRUB doesn't know them as hda!
please tell me what do I do?

Hi
I can boot my LFS on my hard disk
thank you for your helps
because of my IDE hardware, I must edit my fstab and grub.cfg files with" /dev/hda "
this is new experience for me and I am now glad
