Apt-get is VERY difficult to install on LFS after the main system has been built as apt-get wont know anything about the compiled system stuff, aside from which, what is the point of building a LFS system which will be optimized for your particular system and then use pre-compiled packages with shedloads of dependencies that will NOT be optimized for your system?

If you want Ubuntu install Ubuntu!

You may want to research apt-get from Debian first to understand how to construct build scripts and using a fakeroot temporary install system to use for packages.

To be honest, the best package manager is make. Just craft a small script for each package to run make install and any post install instructions and one for running make uninstall and rm -rvf on any other files installed to remove files. If you keep copies of your configured sources in /usr/src it helps a lot.

hello,

i don't want to use Ubuntu for only apt-get program.many of the people very easily use it,and we can download varity of packages with these command so i decided apt-get program could be installed into my new os.But it is impossible to use apt-get program in my new OS as you said.okay thanks for your suggestion.
