i encounter a new problem.when i want compile the kernel i got this error:
root:/usr/src/linux-3.1# make mrproper
/bin/sh: sed: command not found
Makefile:567: /usr/src/linux-3.1/arch//Makefile: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/usr/src/linux-3.1/arch//Makefile'. Stop.
what's wrong?

I would suggest starting a new thread in the appropriate forum. You have marked this one solved an not many will pay any attention to it. This will give it more exposure.
