Hi all. I placed the gmp and mpfr folders in gcc-4.3.2, ran the ./configure specified in the book from gcc-build, and the configure works. But running make yields this:
Code:
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
configure: error: source directory already configured; run "make distclean" there first
make[2]: *** [configure-stage1-gmp] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-build'
make[1]: *** [stage1-bubble] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-build'
make: *** [all] Error 2
.......yadda, yadda......
TIA for your time.

Before I saw the LQ thread saying to put gmp and mpfr in the gcc-4.3.2 folder, I did configure; make in the gmp dir. :/ Obviously the error I posted (and bitched about)
referenced gmp.
Call me at 1-800-DUMB-ASS to opine.

Got it working, thank Tux!
