Framebuffer

Hi,
I have problem with running links in graphical mode using framebuffer.
It try to use DirectFb, it returns error: Could not set gamma ramp -->Invalid argument.
And the last line: Tried the following drivers:
directfb:
Unsupported color depth.
The strange fact, is that mplayer video and fbi images works.
To take note i compiled directfb w/o png, because it failed to compile.
Another problems, are
:mplayer mess console fonts if executed not by root.(have to call $reset)
:fbi --edit segfault on rotate try.
Intel G950 videocard.
Any suggestions, please?
