building Binutils-2.14 pass 1 (LFS 5.1.1)


sir.
When run the command "make install"
i got the following error messeage........

/bin/sh ../binutils-2.14/mkinstalldirs /tools /tools
mkdir /tools
mkdir /tools
make: *** [installdirs] Error 1

kindly help me
i will be very thankful to you.

did you make a /lfs/tools dir??
and did you symlink it to "/" ??

ln -s /lfs/tools /
