BLFS8, "fun" with xmessage

Hi, can anyone with a recent install of LFS 8 plus BLFS up to a point of a working xorg try something for me? Could you type this in a terminal while running in xorg?
Code:
xmessage 'click either one' -buttons Yes:0,No:1 -nearmouse
Does something interesting or unexpected happen? Thanks.

p.s. make sure you're not working on anything important.

p.p.s. it crashes my xorg out, I get dumped to console.

not really. I would prefer a real reason, something like this: OP installed/updated something which replaced a dependent library (or similar). As an aftermath 2 version of the same shared object was in use...

and yet you didn't comment at all or even run the code and say that it runs fine on your system ( or doesn't ), grow a sense of humour.
