BLFS Bootscreen


I want to add a bootscreen to my linux which is build with BLFS. I try to do this with splashy but it doesn't work. Can anyone give me some advice ?

when the system start, the picture can display but the process bar can not display, the start scripts of BLFS is not the same as Debian. And it looks like that the splashy is based on Debian.

Splashy's main host is Debian, but that (hopefully) does not mean it is limited to Debian. On splashy's site, there are links to Fedora and SuSE RPMs, and a DEB for Ubuntu.
