The link in the BLFS 8.1 book for the JD-38.2.1 (a javascript engine written in C) download appears to be bad. Can anyone confirm? Thank you.
I googled to work around that and discovered that there are many javascript packages (including one written in java, yikes), so that was not a help, at least for one wanting to use the exact one in the book.

Would help if you provided a link to the page from BLFS rather than make people search for the correct page, anywya can't find this "JD-38.2.1" thing, but do you mean this ? http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs...eral/js38.html
Well, I a dummy. How I typed JD when I meant JS I do not know. I am sorry for that. Yes, I meant JS. I will be editing the title of this thread accordingly.
