5.4. GCC-4.0.3 - Pass 1 compilation error :(

Ive tried googling for anyone who has the same error, and I can find a few people who have, but nothing that relates to LFS or anything relevant.

I have compiled the binutils, and have just tried to compile the gcc for the first pass, but I get this error

/lib64/ file not recognized: File format not recognized
and it errors out. Ive tried it a few times, and im a bit stumped. Thanks for any help.

Looks like you're using an x86_64 system for the host. Don't use LFS, use CLFS (I recommend you use the multilib version).
