Could someone help me in understanding the concept of Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas cluster.
Or someone kindly give links for any turotial or documentation which will be helpful in understanding the above said
Sorry, if this is a foolish question. Is Veritas Volume Manager a licensed product ?
Can I install it on my RHEL 5 machine ? Is it possible to practice Veritas Volume Manager somehow if this is a licensed version.
Actually, I live in Delhi, India. Here, there is no institute where I can practice or learn Veritas Volume Manager.
Last time i checked it was pay to play. You might be better off starting with Free LVM to learn the concepts of volume management since Vertitas volume manager is similar.
Thanks for the reply. I know LVM.
I wanted to learn Veritas Volume Manager (and then Veritas Cluster) as of job prospects.
