Question Redhat linux AS 4 without paying!

Hi there
Is it ok if I use Redhat Linux Enterprise AS4 without paying? just update manually myself with downloading the require packages like KDE or openoffice or mozilla etc. ?

Or if you think I can have another distro that is professional and supports AMD64?

Please give me the reason if you think I'm wrong

Thanks

To my knowledge it's legal, but you'll probably have alot more manual updates than you think, which will be time consuming and failure to patch may lead to you getting cracked. You may want to consider one of the alternatives based on RHEL like CentOS or Whitebox (I think only Cent has a x86_64 version)

Is it possible that I install CentOS on my Redhat with holding current installed components?
