Redhat ES3 Startx failed to start


Dear friends,

seeking helps from all the sifu. we have servers running on Redhat ES3 and all of them has expired the subscriptions. we are having problem on one of the server where the x windows failed to start as below error details:

X: error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
giving up.
xinit: Connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

i would have the sys admin or the beancounter install RHEL 5.3
RH ES3 is unsupported
