Question problem setting up a webserver

Hey guys, I am busy setting up a webserver for the company I am working for but encountered a problem. After editing the httpd.conf file and creating a default webpage I tried to restart the httpd service and got the following error :"Virtualhost_default_:443-- mixing * ports and non-* with a name virtualhost address is not supported, proceeding with undefined results"And another thing, where do I enter the proxy server address? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with these.

"Virtualhost_default_:443 -- mixing * ports and non-* with a name virtualhost address is not supported, proceeding with undefined results"
...is not the complete error message and you managed to *not* post your config, so if you can deal with clues from reading try http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/vhosts/ especially the http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/vhosts/examples.html.
Basically you want to use an IP address.
