Question Problem Java


My DBA's are trying to run clone scripts and receive this error
$ pwd
/usr/java/jre1.3.1_07/bin
$ ./java -version
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Unable to load native library: /usr/java/jre1.3.1_07/lib/i386/libjava.so: symbol __libc_wait, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

I hope all Fried can help me

Try upgrading at least java to 1.4. I suppose your problem is on redhat entreprise or fedora. Get the rpm from http://java.sun.com
