Question locked memory size

Hi,

I am using RedHat Enterprise. Its Maximum locked memory size is 4. Because of this my program terminates after some time.

I changed the Maximum locked memory size to unlimited by "ulimit -l unlimited" command as a superuser.
I found that it has been changed for superuser only not for all users. And users are not allowed to change this.

I found an option. There is a file /etc/security/limits.conf. This file says that the utilities size can be changed by modifying this file. I tried but it does not work.

Could you please give me idea how to change this for all users.

Thank you very much.

Manoj
