How to send "ALT+P" sequences to a remote server, using minicom

I need to setup a raid 1 remotely using minicom (serial console).

The LSI MPT BIOS Option ROM on my server systems uses ALT+N and ALT+P sequences. Is there any way to generate these sequences through the uses of serial console?
(e.g. F1 maps to the sequence of characters <ESC>)

Is there any other tools that I could use?
