There seems to be a misconception here. Thin clients normally don't have an OS installed, they get it over the network from a server.
Can you please explain a little bit more what exactly you want to do and which hardware is involved?
A client with 2G flash, that needs a "thin" Linux OS to run programs such as RDP, VMware view client 4.6, Citrix receiver, powerterm terminal emulation
