Buildroot for at91sam9263 board

i've got 2.6.22.5-31 kernel on host and i'm trying to build rootfs for at91sam9263 with buildroot and i've got 2.6.29.4 kernel selected in buildroot .

Is there minimum version of kernel required according to the selected kernel in buildroot for target .
As in the previous thread i've got make error for m4 package , i doubt that above might be the reason for the same.
