get what? quake 3?

basicly i'm gona be cheep in this responce. do a search, i hate saying that, for "linux quake 3 download" and you will find pages that have the demo avalible and links to buy it. i recomemd getting the demo first. mostly to see if you can install it and the 3d suport for your vid card before you go spend money on something you can seem to use.

there are a bunch of threads that reffer to quake 3 on this site already. hehe, search for those too.

good luck

Contact the creator's of Quake 3 and tell them that, see if they offer a solution.

As for if you buy Xandros 3 Deluxe, will you get 4 for free, I highly doubt it, you don't buy a subscription when you buy the distro, you buy the package. If you buy a 2003 Volkswagon GTI, do you get a 2004 for free?

Cool

makes sense, but that was a bad example.

a car has acdtual hard partsw, and it cannot be duplicated easily, wh3re as software uses no resouces and therefore can be easily duplicate, at little or no cost to either party

If you buy an audio CD today, from any artist, do you get their next release for free? Generally, no. More along the lines of an example fitting eh?

Cool

I think you have to have quake 3 and then u install it on windows and then you install some files on the lnux and you use wine to run it. Other then that I dunno.

Sorry!

NEED HELP PLEASE!

I am trying to reduce Windows to my video game only OS. What stops me from doing that is I cannot get my Linksys USB Wireless G adapter to work in Xandros 3.0. I did some digging and found out about the NDIS wrapper but it's all greek to me. Anyone, know how to get this working in a (fairly) easy fashion? Any help would be much appreciated.
