Normally if you would compare Redhat vs Mandrake (on standard hardware excluding enterprise editions), I'd say it's pretty much a draw. However, Mandrake 10 uses the 2.6 kernel which from all the benchmarks I've seen puts a whipping on the 2.4 series kernels (like all the current Redhats are running). If your building any kind of production server, you should really only be running the bare minimum amount of software on it, so the difference beyond the server software and kernels should be pretty negligible.
