Which distribution is good for me?


So I'm thinking of trying out linux I'm currently using windows xp for my laptops. I'm thinking if I should change to windows 7. But I want to try out linux. Which ones would be good for me?

the laptop I'm currently using is:

I would suggest either Linux Mint, or Ubuntu. Both distributions allow you to run the operating system off of the CD (or DVD) before installing it.

I think u should choose fedora
it always brings new technologies before other distros
and all it's software are completely free unlike some other distros
u can try the live cd before installing
u can also write the image to a usb using fedora liveusb creator
