Whatever happened to openlinux

I was wondering how some of you guys felt about
Caldera. A few years back, open linux was ahead
of most of the other distros. The installer was
superb and caldera 2.4 had very few flaws overall.

I installed 3.1.1 the other day and I realized that not much has improved. Sure they use a new
version of the kernel. However, the installer is
the same, gnome is still not there, ots of things
like that.

It seems that they don't put much effort in linux
but open unix (old sco). What a shame.

caldera use to own..
they were the first with a gui setup.
and during install it was even possible to play a game..
when I look to the minimum hardware requirements is seems that open linux is not really linux anymore.. it needs to much resources. and what I read about caldera I can't say that it's a good one as it used to be.
don't take me wrong, caldera used to be revolutionary
