Trialling Bio-Linux on a Centos5 machine

I have a machine running CentOS 5 and would like to trial Nerc Bio-Linux on this machine without disturbing Centos 5. There seem to be several different ways of doing this - using a virtual machine or running Bio-Linux on a memory stick. Can anyone advise me of the best way to do this, or indeed if this is possible? Many thanks

well there is no best, but i'd suggest a VM unless you have specific interests in the direct hardware compatibility of the other distro. if you're fully up to date on centos 5.6 kvm / libvirt should be sitting there waiting to be used.

Thanks for your advice. I will set up a VM to try Bio-Linux.
