hey I needed to know whether I can get the suse live eval and use it on an empty hd.... (laptop)..... I tried installing fedora core 2 but it wouldn't boot to set up.... Any way I can get the live eval to boot and work on an empty hd that's asking for a system disk?!

Thanks in advance!

Are you hoping to install the Suse live evaluation disk to hdd as a Suse install?? If so, I'm not sure that you can do that. Isn't this what you need ? http://www.suse.co.uk/uk/private/dow...l_iso_int.html
Good luck.
