Hi,

How can i choose/compare some repositories to host the binary packages for a new distro?

I must host some binary packages on a repository but i know nothing about how choose it.

All you've done is repeated the same words in a different order - that doesn't tell us anything new.

You need to provide more information about what you are trying to do and why - pretend we've got no idea at all what you're asking.

This includes stating which candidates you have currently identified, and how they do not meet your needs.

If you simply need a choice, allocate each a number then roll a dice - if that method isn't sufficient, explain what it fails to take into account.

And actually how did you solve it?

Here are the questions:
1. how much data do you want to store?
2. how do you want to access to that repo?
3. is it a local network with a few users or a global repo with a lot of (huge amount of) users (like for example debian)?
4. how [often] do you want to refresh it?
5. what about backups and availability, stability?
6. what about support?
7. documentation, permissions .... ?
8. what about other things which may be important for you?
