I'm trying to remaster finnix, and im wondering, how bit of a harddrive do i need to get all the required files, cause so far, my virtual 30gb doesnt ever have enough space, and i dont have enough space on my laptop harddrive to copy the files there. would i need a bigger HDD? 40, 60, 100gb?

I think that depends on what you want to modify. The Finnix ISO itself is below 200 megs in size, and http://www.finnix.org/Remastering_Finnix doesn't say anything about copying the source of every tool over. So if you for instance would like to compile in a new kernel you would only require (size of Finnix ISO contents)+(size of kernel tarball)+(size of kernel tarball unpacked)+(size of kernel tarball compiled). So any virtual disk of say 2GB could do.
for some reason, i keep getting not enough space or something, and im the hdd directory, and coping eveverything there. my virtual hard disk is 30gb. ill try it again and post the commands of what im doing.
