No Sound in Pardus Linux

My problem is that Kmix and Alsa have detected my card witch is a ATI IXP SB400 AC'97 Audio Controller but the sound does not work. Any ideas. I also had the same problem in Slackware.

Here is the Alsa link with the supported sound modules. -->http://www.alsa-project.org/main/ind...e-atiixp-modem

Are any of the modules loaded? Open a konsole, run the command '/sbin/lsmod |grep snd' and post the results.
