This will install the Synaptic package manager:
Code:
sudo apt-get install synaptic

It is Ubuntu 14.04.
I don't think I am looking for Synaptic, I already have Ubuntu Software Centre but what I am looking for is the "System & update" app that I see people find in dash for lots of tutorials. When I write "System & update" in dash as it sais everywhere it finds nothing and correct me if I am wrong but the similar menus that I can find in the Ubuntu Software Centre doesn't really have all the things that I need like updating drivers for my video card.

Synaptic will do that sort of thing and it's better than the Software Centre (well, I think so!)
