Mandrake Bugs

After installing Mandrake Linux 10 it has been hard work to get some of the stuff to work. Finally I got the Nvidia Drivers working but when i installed them my Gl screen savers disappeard. I then installed the GLX RPM from Nvidia and installed the drivers again and the screensavers returned. The work well, but now if I turn off the computer the xserver won't start and i have to switch to level 3 services and then to 5 again to get it going.

Do you guys know why this happens?

the driver package is : NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336-pkg1.run

and the GLX package is: NVIDIA-GLX-1.0-5336.ul1.i586.rpm

The Video Card is Nvidia Geforce4 Mx440 SE
Distor is Mandrake Linux 10 Commuinnity
