I like mandrake 10.0 quite a bit, but apparently it doesn't support my raid. I am using 2 x 250gb hard drives on Raid 0 with Sil 3112a... it just won't recognize the drives. I looked for drivers for it forever, and then someone told me that mandrake just doesn't support it...

1) Can anyone confirm this?
2) Would anyone be willing to try and help me get them working in Mandrake 10.0? That would be the most preferred method, as I am somewhat accustomed to it already.
3) If NOT, what version WOULD support it? Preferably out of the box, because Mandrake 10.0 is the only one I've used.
4) I hear Suse supports it, I also know that Suse has an install DVD... does anybody know where I could download an image of this DVD? I've looked for it for a while and can't seem to find one.

Exactly the same problem, there is another thread with some other guys with the same hardware as us, im using Mandrake 10.1 tried 10.0 and upgraded to see if it would "just work" any info if mandrake supports this setup or not would be great?

I'm running Suse 9.1 (or 9.2) and it's not working.... but this at least loads a module for it or something, but still no go.... then again, I'm a complete noob, maybe I'm just not mounting it or something...? I dont know how to mount.... I dont know WHAT to mount... why am I even still typing
