IpCOP Url Filter (squid guard)

Guys,

I'ved implement a linux firewall on one of my clients, this client has no experienced in linux, that's why i choose ipcop to make them easy to manage, in this box i'ved also installed the advance proxy and the url filter.

when i tried to modify the squidGuard.conf and try to restart the service, all additional lines that i'ved created was removed. is there any way that i could modify this permanently?

Regards,
