I've been using the graphical installer from the Gentoo LiveCD to get gentoo on a P3 box, and the installation failed due to mod_PHP. I don't really know what to do right now, please help. I do have the base system installed, so I can reboot and get on it, however, I do not want to lose the uninstalled packages. I understand I could emerge them later, but is there a way to see which ones have not yet been installed from the 297 that were selected for installation?
Just try changing your mirror and see if that one works any better. It just seems that your particular mirror is missing a file or two.
Well, I'm using the packages from the CD, but it appears as though I can't select any options except close out. If I interpreted you correctly, do you mean I need to reinstall?
