Your screenshots look like Manjaro, not Garuda.
Garuda appears to be a niche distro, very new (2 releases in the last few months, nothing before that) and probably not quite stable yet. Expect hiccups, and make sure to report them to the Garuda forum, where they can do much more good than here.
If you are new to Linux I do not recommend any Arch-based distribution, and certainly not a beta.
Oh, and always follow the installation instructions from the distro's website.
All good thanks for all your help Ive finally worked it out there's 2 installers one in the menu and one in the taskbar next to the menu icon.I was trying to install with the Garuda Installer.I am now on my new Distro and its smooth as my wife's butt.

Apologies i tried to delete the double posts as i was doing them on my phone.My screen shots were of Manjaro yes that's where i was trying to install Garuda .Thanks fore your advice.
