Fastest Booting Distribution?

Hello fellow linux users. I currently run PCLinuxOS 2007 as my default/only operating system. I am looking for a linux distribution I can install on a flash/thumb drive (4GB) and can boot quickly to access Web browsing (Flash capable), Media playing (MP3s, Movies).

My system specifications are AMD X2 3800+, 3GB RAM, 320GB HD.

Basically what I want to do is be able to load a distro onto my thumb drive and boot from it (my system supports booting from USB) to just browse the web or listen to some music. I hate having to load my distribution just to get some quick info then shut it down when Im not using it. If anyone can give a suggestion or help me out, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for any help you can provide!

Puppy Linux 4.0 Dingo

This was made to run from ram and would be instantaneous on your system.

I would have to say SliTaz http://www.slitaz.org/en/ . So far fastest booting live distro I have seen. Beats DSL and Puppy.
