I figure it should be no big deal to get rid of the AUR packages, if desired.
I haven't tried Endeavour yet, but I used the Anarchy installer to put in one of my Arch systems, and it worked out well for me:

I still think it's best to do it "the Arch Way," time permitting. But from what I've read, Endeavour looks pretty good.
