e17 packages for Ubuntu?

Are there any packages for e17 for Ubuntu? I have not been able to find any, and any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

maybe the libs but I doubt you will find anything for e itself. Its a pretty short build (for the libs and app) from cvs though.

Don't bother yet, I built it from CVS the other day and it's nothing special and would require a bit of tweaking to get to the state where you could use it as a primary WM. On the plus side it has a very cool loking loading sequence

There are no e17 packages for Ubuntu that I know of. But if anyone's interested, there are some in Lunar Linux - have a read: http://lunar-linux.org/?q=node/view/656
Haven't tried them myself though. I keep an eye on progress of e17, but it's still a bit too rough for me...

given the state that e17 is in, I would recommend not using any packages for it. If you decide you want to try the latest cvs, you will most likely be recompiling everything anyway since the api's of the libraries are still changing.

There is for Debian (unofficial sources), so if you are feeling brave enough you could add this to /etc/apt/sources.list :

deb http://j.portalier.free.fr/debian testing main
