DSL-N Flash not working, installed 10 and 9

I'm using DSL-N as a livecd until I get my hd replaced... it died.

DLS-N as a boot cd is nice because it gives you some ramdisk to install stuff on.

Also, it has a web backup and restore so you can keep settings and whatnot.

So, I installed Adobe Flash, and it didn't work. All of the help kept saying move the libflashplugin.so or something like that, as well as flashplugin.something, which is not there in versions 9 and 10.

I almost got it to work once, but the xwindows locked before I could backup my settings to ftp

thanks.

okay I managed to find apt-get for DSL... and so I load up Firefox... it says I need the flash plugin... and it automatically installs it... only started doing this after I installed synaptic and apt-get. says I need to restart firefox to use it. I restart firefox, and no flash.

Every version of gnash I find won't install properly.

I have MPlayer and the firefox plugin, but it doesn't seem to do me any good.

Any other ideas?

Okay I've also got GTK2 since I read someone say that Flash 9 requires it.

I also deleted the XPTI.DAT file which I failed to do the first couple of times.

Still nothing.

I can't find a download for Flash 7 to try it.

Can a nuub get some halp?
