The SuSE 9.1 Pro that I purchased is for the intel 32-bit architecture, this includes amd of course. It also includes seperate install disks for the AMD 64 platform. They may also sell packages for different platforms, so make sure that you double check what you are purchasing.

SuSE is one of the most wide-architecture compatible distros for everything from x86, amd_64, SPARC, etc.. If you have a basic home computer it's almost guaranteed you have a i386 compatible PC.. if it's a Pentium II or above than it's "technically" i686... but if there's no specification.. Use i386... (If you're running windows, it i386 compatible)
