Disable network card detect. suse8 inst.


How can I disable the network card detection in installation of Suse 8 in my Compaq Presario 1210 EA???

remove your physical network card before installation.

I cant

I cant remove the phisical network card... it's a laptop and I'm not ready to open it up...

Any other ideas?

That could be just a problem for SuSE, maybe you would like to try another distro?
