Try editing your php.ini file and add a Timezone.
E.g.:
Code:
date.timezone = “Europe/Paris”

Have you any PHP extension causing errors?
The problem can depend on
1 - an unexisting extension
2 - a syntax error in php.ini
3 - a problematic extension
4 - timezone not set in php.ini
4 - timezone not set in the invironment (export TZ)

Try commenting out any php extension and check again until you find the one causing the problem.
