Best Distro for Linux+/LPI Prep?

I've been using GNU/Linux for a while, and I'd like to make it official with some certification. I know that the certs are supposed to be distro neutral, but is there a distro that would be best for preparing for the exam? I've been using Gentoo for a while now, and though I've learned a lot from it, I know it's fairly irregular(BSD like configurations and whatnot). Is there any one distro that would be best for exam prep?
