apparently, I loaded my Windows XP with a file that screws up its memory when I log into a user. I can't select safe mode, as GRUB is now my bootloader, instead of the standard Windows one... Also, if anyone could help me find the problem and destroy it after I get into safe mode, that would be great.
Can't you just hold down F8 as soon as you press enter for windows?
Since Grub is actually only calling the windows bootloader to do the actual booting of windows ( thats what chainloader means ).
no cuz as sonn as you push windows it comes up with the windows logo and the bars loading ti underneath. it kinda skips the part were it cheks all your slaves and mater drives and so on..
If you have the original CD you can use that in a rescue mode.
When I've screwed up windows good, ( Usually with bad drivers ) I tend to use Windows PE to get me out of trouble. Theres also Bart PE If you can't find that.
