First off, I wanted to share that I am thoroughly enjoying my recent introduction to the wonderful world of Linux operating systems!

I wanted to ask a question about the possibility of installing a power management package within Slitaz 4.0. I recently installed Slitaz on a first generation Asus Eee PC (2G Surf) netbook. Although I am happy to report that Slitaz is running extremely well on the netbook, I would like to install power management software in order to disable a persistent dialog box that keeps advising me of low battery power. As I could not find a power management software package in "TazPanel - Packages," I was wondering if I need to consult a more comprehensive Linux package repository.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could extend to me about this power management issue. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my note of inquiry.
