Question anyone know the commands to rebuild kernels for version 2.0.* and 2.2.*?

i went to http://www.tldp.org and I found a note on the Kernel HOWTO link to go to some outside website for the Kernel HOWTO and what I found was for 2.4.* and 2.6.*

i'm perplexed as to WHY kernels that are still being maintained or were as of the year 2004 don't have entires, but since I and TLDP don't control that guys website, nevermind.

but... anyone know the commands to rebuild kernels for version 2.0.* and 2.2.*?

i'm getting a 'funky' pci.h error with 2.0.0 and even up to 2.0.40

Not sure, but I think rebuilding in 2.0, 2.2 and 2.4 it's the same and it only changes in 2.6.

# make menuconfig
# make dep
# make clean
# make bzImage
# make modules
# make modules_install

You can find tons of pages with more info about compiling 2.0 and 2.2 kernels, for example:

http://www.linuxsa.org.au/meetings/1...el/kernel.html
http://linuxguide.sourceforge.net/linux-kernel.html
