advice needed for a distro !

im looking for a distro that basicly will be similar to slax ..
slax seems to crash .. so im hoping for a bit more stable distro
my needs are basicly a live cd distro
that will be able to write on my usb stick (where it is booted from)
and save changes and not run from the hard drive !!

anybody now a distro that might fit ??

Slax unstable?? That does not sound right - but it will depend on what you are doing with it.

You need to look at Pendrive linux.

You can run pretty much any distro from a sufficiently large usb stick.
How about slackware? (Slax parent distro)
Or look for other slackware deriveratives like Zenwalk.

well .. i realy like slax .. but .. some times it crashes .. and im having a problem that mysteriously solves it self .. .. but yeah slax is good
