which of the 47 ACPI files on Windows XP do I enter "Lixux=ACPI off"?

Last June a member posted a solution to the problem I am now having which is I am getting an error message
when I try to install Fedora Core 5. His solution was
"Linux=ACPI off". In which of the 47 ACPI files in Windows XP do I enter this?

You enter those commands at the boot prompt when you run the Fedora Core installation disc. The right command is
Code:
linux acpi=off
