Hi,

I'm on Fedora 21 widhe KDE 4.14.3, and when I try to:
yum upgrade I get the below, I think its cause I have tiger disabled..which I have to do to run realvnc. Is there a way around this?..to upgrade to 22 and skip tiger?
Please let me know the command line to do this, thanks!

Transaction check error:

I was hoping for another way,,,if I do that I have to start all over in the sage of reinstalling it...which was a pain.
surely that can't be a show stopper??

did you read the release notes ?
fedora is deprecating yum , they moved to a NEW TOOL
--- DNF ---
and is using "fedup" to upgrade

see
http://fedoramagazine.org/upgrade-fedora-21-fedora-22/
and

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedUp..._with_FedUp.3F
Code:
su -

fedup --network 22
mind you if you have software installed from anyplace other than the BASE and UPDATES repos

a distro upgrade might not work out well

so PREPARE for the worst
a full new clean install of 22

Thanks!..I finally got both PC updated to 22, my gnome and KDE box...I'm sure I ran a few commands that weren't needed...but, it all works now. Good news is..with version 20 on my gnome box, RealVNC worked fine...when I went to 21 I lost real vac capability...hours with RealVNC and on forums...no luck...now, oddly with 22...real vnc is working fine again!
